Summary

This is an adapter to allow a 1-7/8" shop vac hose to connect to the dust bag port on a Black and Decker BDER0100 random orbit sander. Other sanders might be compatible, but this is what I designed and have tested the part for.

I've also included the .3mf if you wish to use my exact settings, as well as the Solidworks part file if you need to modify the hose diameter or dust port connection.

Print Settings:
-Rotate the model 30° so the chamfer edge is flat on the build plate. I found this put the layer lines in a good position to allow the locking tabs to remain strong while resisting the pull from the hose.
-Rotate the model so that the tab on the sander side is closest to the build plate. This shouldn't affect the quality of the print, but reduces support material.
