Summary
I was surprised that I couldn't find a solar filter that fit in a 50mm finder mount, so I designed this one. I'm planning on testing it today (clear skies pending) with a small circle of tracing paper for a screen inside the reticle. I wanted a removable reticle, so I could align the scope and finder on an daytime object (a streelight, likely) with the before I tried it on the sun.
I hope somebody else finds it useful!
