I found the hook on the original was too short. With the car mounted, the suspension was compressed, putting stress on the car springs and the mount hook itself.
The remixed mount adds 5mm to the hook and reinforced the brace to provide extra lateral strength. As a result, the car sits more comfortably on the hook and is easier to put on and take off.
Thanks to the original designer for the mount designs which have helped me to display my models more efficiently.
