An Index gunstock that actually WORKS.
nIt's rock solid, light as a feather, doesn't interfere with any of the gun shapes of pavlov, does not require magnets, does not interfere with tracking, and best of all it just clips onto the dominant hand so you can take it on and off with zero tools.
nIt doesn't get in the way at all and even using menus is easier by just butting up the stock against my bicep so the cursor is more steady.
nI also made the rear grip more orthopedic. The standard index controllers are so thin that my hands cramp up a lot when using them and having an extra slope in the palm makes it a lot more comfortable. I made the cheekrest shorter to accommodate a wide range of gunshapes so if a certain weapon has lower sights you can just lean your head in more to get a proper sight picture. It works with all different types of weapons without interference. I'm able to use shotguns, snipers, pistols, smg's Rocket launchers and they all work beautifully in game. I highly recommend wrapping the front grip in gauze tape for extra padding and comfort.

All it requires is one 1/2" aluminum tube and two 3/16th" aluminum rods. Both can be easily acquired at any hardware store. The 1/2" tube should be cut at a 45 degree angle so as to index properly into the socket to prevent twisting.
nRecommended length is 6" for all tubes but I would say start longer, see how it feels and keep trimming the lengths down until it's comfortable.
nThe parts are supposed to be heat-pressed together, so if the tubes don't fit in the sockets that's why. Just get a lighter or butane torch ideally and heat them up before jamming them carefully into the sockets. As the plastic softens squeeze the openings tight around the tubes. Then let them cool down and they should be solid. Don't apply more heat than necessary as you don't want the plastic to get TOO soft.
nKeep in mind this is the first version and I am still fine-tuning the precise positioning of the grip/stock. If you need to make fine adjustments to the left/right placement of the grip you can get a heatgun, carefully warm the plastic and bend it to the desired position before letting it cool down again. As time goes on the design and tolerances will get refined and the next version I will try to make have adjustable front grips and stocks. I also want to make a Quest 2 version at some point.
