Summary

I think that the original spool holder by DEJello is fantastic.
I had a problem with some narrow spools that would only sit on one bearing and wobble.
The bearings that I ordered came with more than three so, I put another one on the shaft.
I fine tuned the positions of the bearings and it has worked flawlessly.
There is absolutely no perceivable drag on the filament.

Caution: Wash your hands before touching anything else on your 3D printer after handling the bearings. They are greasy and that will wreck your printer bed surface. You can figure out how I know this. Don't be like me.

You should go to DEJello's Thing page and get the Spool Holder and the Washer.
Print one Spool Holder.
Print two of the Washer.

From here get the two replacements for the Bearing Spacer.

Spacer Small is 3.56 mm long, you need two printed.
Spacer Long is 10mm long, you need four printed.

I used a 5/16 4.5" bolt and posi-lock nut.
The bearings are 7mm thick.

Starting with the bolt put on;
Spool Holder then
10mm spacer long,
Washer,
3.56mm spacer small,
A bearing,
10mm spacer,
B bearing,
10mm spacer,
C bearing,
10mm spacer,
D bearing,
3.56mm spacer small,
Washer,
Nut

In the picture of the complete unit the black ring at the left is the stock ender part that holds the stock filament holder on to the metal bracket.
You will use it.
The red parts are the spool holder and the washer from DEJello.
