Summary

This is a reproduction of the arrow head and notch used on Susan Pevensie's arrows in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. I'm hoping the representation is fairly accurate based on the images I have found on the internet.

There are several different version of the arrow head and notch depending on the quality and type of printer you have. So far I have only tested these prints on a slightly less tuned FDM printer. Each of the pieces are designed to go on a 1/4 inch dowel, but should work with other dowel sizes as well. Most of the pieces have a pilot hole that can be used to drill to the size of dowel you have. While this makes it convenient to get the hole size you would like, I found it also makes it so FDM printers don't get too mad about really thin walls.

If you have a resin printer, I would recommend downloading either of the models that have resin in their name as they have more detail that I believe a resin printer can handle. The main difference between the two resin arrow heads is that one has a flat bottom for easier printing, while the other one has the lion head details as seen in the Narnia movies (but it will likely be harder to print).

For the FDM models, if your printer is not super fine tuned, I would recommend doing the Arrow Head - FDM.stl model. It doesn't have quite as many details, but still produces fine looking arrow heads. If your printer is better tuned, you could probably do the Head FDM More Detail.stl to have nicer looking arrow heads.

The only difference between the two notches is one comes with the pilot hole for drilling to your desired size, while the other has a 1/4 hole to make for easy assembly.

I am in the process of making several more props from the Narnia films and books so be on the look out for many more to come.
