Summary
A slightly improved version of the first design I made.
I printed the base as 1 part. Note that it will be heavier as needed and it is limited in size.
You can split it and print in parts to be able to remove inner filler material and to be able to size it better.
For my model boat I needed just a small Zodiac 500 so I did not bother to slice it.
