Summary

Made these 2 parts this to adapt the external threads on my Orion Observer 134 focus tube to T mount adapter. One design is intended to glue a 1.25" to M42- T Mount adapter into the adapter ring so that filters can still be attached, and the other piece is just a straight adapter from the focus tube to straight to an M42x0.75 thread. The eyepiece holder unthreads from the silver tube, exposing a set of threads for either of these adapters to be installed on.

I use 0.1mm height modifier for the threaded sections and 0.2mm for the area in between the threads.

Post-Printing

You may chose to glue a metal 1.25" T adapter into the plastic ring to support adding threaded filters

The 2 designs accommodate two different types of adapters. One is a 1.25" to M42, and another is just a straight 1.375"x32 to M42x075. Both work great on my Sony mirrorless cameras. Note, for the 1.25" to M42 adapter, it is a slight interference fit to prevent the camera pulling the adapter out of the plastic. Some sanding may be required.
