Summary
I needed space in my enclosure and the kettle plug was sticking out way to much for it to fit. Removing the kettle plug on the unit. Lugged the extension cable so if I removed it and put it back to original. Heat shrinked all the wires. Tugged the cables back and pulled the 3d print part over 8mm cable. Perfect fit.
It has a short extension and the mush more space available.
