Summary

I took Ivisintini's design (and DrBo6's and bearsfan1978's) and made some adjustments.

The most obvious change is that the borders use 44% less material and print a lot faster.

The most important change is that I made the linking knobs 10% narrower. This makes it the connections much more forgiving for a wider variety of printers and setups.

I had to do a LOT of shaving on the originals and eventually some of the female connectors broke because of the excessively tight fits. I also had to trim a LOT of material off of the inner edges to make the tiles fit.

These modifications fix both problems. It makes the borders more flexible and able to accommodate the slight variations the game tiles naturally have. With these, I was able to easily put together all board configurations with no trimming or shaving. The fit is relatively snug, and you can slide the completed board around with no shifting, but individual tiles are not super difficult to pop in and out, and popping them back in doesn't cause others to pop up. One minor annoyance is the pieces can come apart fairly easily while you are assembling it, but once complete; it's solid.

Note: I'm not super happy with the "L" model. It seems to create some weird gaps. It works well enough, but I'll see if I can't figure out what's wrong and fix it.
