Summary

Locking Pin for trunk trim panels on BMW Z3 Coupe and M Coupe, part number 51468401895 for Black and part number 51468400411 for Beige. BMW Dealer had mentioned these are no longer available so I modeled this based on the ones that I did still have. These are specific to the coupe, they are a little bit different from the ones that are under the dash and shared with the roadsters and other cars.

Other folks have modeled similar pins as one piece, but I didn't want to use supports or compromise the strength of the part so I split this into two pieces that can be printed flat then glued together. I used PETG to print since it's what I've got available, then glued sparingly with Bob Smith Extra Thick CA and a spritz of kicker.

Notes:
Cavity in "button" piece should go against print bed, should not require any supports since it's such a small overhang. I printed with 3 walls, 4 layers top and bottom, which is almost certainly overkill, but the finished part is very sturdy
