This tool mount is specifically designed for the F-25mm MPCNC Primo.
You'll notice that the original tool mounting plates are no longer necessary as they are already integrated into the holder. You can utilize the original screws to attach the holder, although you may need a ratchet for the job. One thing to keep in mind is that the spindle now sits closer to the Z-axis, enhancing stability, albeit with a slight limitation in its range of motion (as illustrated in the picture). This adjustment prevents any potential collisions with the bearings. Additionally, accessing the on/off switch might require a bit more effort when switching the router manually.
The screws for clamping the router are ingeniously angled, facilitating easy access, especially if you're using a vacuum mount. Furthermore, thanks to its symmetrical design, you have the flexibility to rotate the mount by 180 degrees if needed just in case the vacuum pipe is located on the left side.
The primary aim of this design is to streamline the setup by having just one printed piece between the Z-axis rails and the router, thereby bolstering stability during milling operations. While it leverages the original parts, you will need an extra screw and nut for securely clamping the router in place.
It's worth noting that this design has been successfully tested with the Makita RT0700, and it's likely compatible with DeWalt routers as well.
