Summary

This dog bag dispenser attaches to any street sign post (parking, stop, etc), lamp post, telephone pole or fencepost, and can hold up to 3 rolls of dog poop bags. The goal is to provide an easy to use public dispenser for bags, which anyone feeling generous can contribute to.

Pay it forward and leave a roll. The goal is less poop on the sidewalks and front lawns.

Universal Dispenserholds the bags and will fit on multiple mounting backs. It locks in place with a French cleat and zip-tie. This will fit a regular sized zip tie, but a small or medium sized zip tie may bend and fit better. Print this dispenser upside down, with the open top against the print bed. You will need to add supports for the tear-off tab.

The lid comes 3-ways:Lid No Textis blank on both sides,Lid Text Infillhas only the text on top (for monochrome or 2-color printing), andLid 2 Color Text and QRhas top text and a QR code inside (QR infill must be printed in white or light color, with lid in a dark color). When printing a multi-color lid, add the multiple STL files at together and they should sync in your slicer. The QR code links to this Thingiverse page.

The hinge pin is a length of filament. You may need to gently drill out the hole slightly larger to fit one in.

There are a lot of options here. Let me spell them out:

Back Mounts: There are many options here, which includePost Bracket 1andPost Bracket 2. These fit slightly differently profiled U-Strut stop sign pole mounts. There's also aUniversal Back Mountwhich should fit most or all U profiles on the skinny back side of the pole. All of these attach with theBracket Screw Plateand mount using 1/2" #6 screws.

Square Post Mountfits the newer 2" square sign tubes (these attach with theSquare Post Screw Plateand mount using 2-1/4", #6 screws).

Zip tie Mount Bracketattaches to round posts using 2 or 3 zip tie wraps around the pole.

Finally, there'sDispenser Wall Mount, a wall-mount version of the dispenser which as two screw holes through the back. This can attach to a telephone pole, fence post, or other flat surface. The back is concave to fit telephone poles, so don't overtighten the screw on a flat surface - you'll crack the container.

Stop and Street Sign U-profiles are all subtly different.Test Fit Widgetsis a single file of all three post-mounting profiles for a quick size check. Print these with minimal infill to check which mount you need to print at full size.
