Summary

The battery adapter for the Drill "Performance" PCD144-NZ - created for using the battery STHOR 14.4V 78986.
Why? It is almost impossible to find the original battery (Ni-Zn 14.4V 1200mAh "PBAT14-NZ" ) for this drill so I decided to use another battery of the same voltage - from another drill. As a budget-friendly and commonly available option there is STHOR battery - also 14.4V (for 78986 drill), however it is Li-ion. Thus, in order to get a replaceable battery for the "Performance" drill the easy way is (instead of buying a new drill of course ;) ) to create an adapter - which is exactly what you can find in here, consisting of 2 parts. Besides, You'll need two springs (collapsible ones), diameter 5mm, height - 15-25mm or so. And, of course, 4 connectors and 2 pieces of wire. And!!! the power adapter for the STHOR battery is a different one from which comes with the "Performance" drill - You should also buy it separately (17V 0.3-0.4A).
After printing the part and removing supports (yes, can be a pain, I know) I would recommend making a tiny hole next to the edge of the spring socket on the smaller, moving part and there to squish the end of the spring - thus it will be "inserted" somehow into this part and kept in place while You insert this part into the adapter itself.
What's next is - insert two connectors to the battery and two connectors into the shaft which goes to the drill. Then just plug the battery into the adapter, then drill into the adapter and connect the remaining connectors which You've put in the shaft to the drill. Voila, should work.
