Summary

For a college project i had to design a drone for Search & Rescue using a body from an Amazon kit supplied (See attached picture for reference). The kit comes with 7mm motors NOT the 8mm motor kit. Currently, the board and battery are placed on the top of the drone, although I still need to finalize the design for this part. Routing the motor cables through the frame can be a bit tricky at times!

The drone is divided into two printable parts, the top and bottom. I opted for this approach because it allows for easy replacement of the 7mm motors if necessary. I also used 7mm magnets glued into the bodies to facilitate this.

For longer flight times, it's crucial to keep the printed design as lightweight as possible. Please consider your 3D printer's capabilities when printing this design.
