FLEXTAILGEAR Max Pump Adapter for Qomotop Mattress

Summary

Adapter for attaching FLEXTAILGEAR MAX Pump to the Qomotop Air Mattress for easier inflation/deflation. Pump didn't come with an adapter that fit the air mattress ports, so decided to design one. Fits both inflater & deflator openings on the pump nice and snug.

This could easily be tweaked to use as a replacement for the mattress screw cap if needed by closing up the through-hole.

How I Designed This

Process

Measured threads on the mattress screw cap and replicated in SketchUp. Essentially recreated the screw cap, but put a hole through it to friction-fit the pump.

Started with a super simple prototype to make sure measurements for the threading and pump were at least close - which they were! Then spent a good amount of time dialing in the threading.
