Summary

This hourglass isn't for measuring time, it's just a decorative piece and for "playing" with. It's surprisingly soothing to watch the grains flow from one end to the other, and it produces a delightful sound when used like a maraca. As someone who has ADHD and needs to keep fidgeting with something, this hourglass works great as a fidget toy.

To create this hourglass, you need to pause the printing process before the model seals up to add the grains. I chose silica gel because of its gorgeous color, and it's easily visible through the transparent filament. However, you can use any small objects that can pass through the opening without getting stuck, such as rice.

I've even included the BambuStudio 3mf file with the pause already set up, so all you have to do is print it out and add your chosen grains.
