Summary
This Osteocyte cell diagram (C) forms part of a set comprised of the cross section and diagrams A,B,C, and D.
This selection of bone cell diagrams was sent to us as part of a pilot for the University College of Osteopathy, London UK.
The original diagram was provided by lecturers and adjusted to create 3D alternatives for a student.
We do not know the original source of the diagram but will happily credit or remove copyrighted material if notified.
The 3D models represent a central bone cross section and 4 different bone cell examples. The diagrams use UK Grade 2 Braille.
Written descriptions of the diagrams and all labelling are provided in the associated word document.
