Summary

Side window foilers for the Mazda MX5 ND (2016-present). These items attach to the bar between the side window and the tiny triangle window (near the side mirrors) with automotive double-sided tape.

These foilers interrupt the flow of air past the window, reducing buffeting inside the cabin when the side windows are down.

v1 is flat on the underside, and the bottom is squared off both of which cause fitment issues on the car but were sufficient for proof of concept.

v2 adds curvature to the underside to match the curvature of the window and an angle to the bottom to match the angle of the window section. I have not yet tested this version.

Post-Printing

Apply automotive double-sided tape to the flat back of the foiler, then attach to the trapezoidal spacer between the triangular window and the side window. I recommend using at least 2 spring clamps per foiler to promote adhesive and encourage the foiler to bend slightly and mold to the slight curve of the car.
