With the recent Singularity Expedition in No Man's Sky, came a brand-new, full-body customization: The Construct! Here are models of the construct avatar that you can get in-game. Sadly, I was not able to find the Atlantid variation, but I did manage to find a slightly customized version, with armor plating & a small jetpack. Hope you enjoy!

This model has parts that are very fragile, such as the robotic components inside. I'd recommend printing this on a resin printer if available, or printing it large if on a standard one.
How to Pull Models from No Man's Sky
Preparation
Pulling models from No Man's Sky is easier than I once thought! There are a few different programs required, but all of them are 100% free, & a good model can be pulled in about 15-30 minutes.
First, you need to download free 3 programs, if you don't own them yet:
- Blender (From its website, https://www.blender.org/download/)
- 3D Builder (from the Microsoft Store or the website: https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/3d-builder/9WZDNCRFJ3T6?hl=en-us&gl=us&rtc=1)
- NMSMV (short for No Man's Sky Model Viewer, available at the creator's Github: https://github.com/gregkwaste/NMSMV)
Once all of those are installed, you can move onto the fun part!
Extracting the Model
First, link your NMS game directory to NMSMV, to provide it access to its game files. From there, choose the model that you want to pull, & export it as an OBJ. (NOTE: If you want to pull a starship from the game, most will come in parts: the wings, cockpit, engine, etc. separately. Pull each model on its own, & then combine them into one after they're cleaned, which we'll get into right now.)
Next, import the model into Blender, & delete any unnecessary parts & objects. There are a lot of them, so make sure there are no overlapping ones, but try to not delete the ones that define the basic shape of the model. If there are multiple models you want to put into one, this is the time to do so.
Finally, import the cleaned mode from Blender into 3D Builder. Once you import, there should appear a pop-up that asks for permission to clean the model, as there are improperly-defined faces. Click the pop-up to automatically clean the mode, & after that's done, your model should be too! Then just export, import into your slicer of choice, & get ready to print it!
