Navigational equipment mount

with AMPS bolt pattern for 1 1/8" / 28.6mm bars

Description

This is a handlebar mount for AMPS pattern navigational equipment cradles etc.
It's meant for 1 1/8 handlebars (eg. motorcycle handlebar in clamping area).

Details

The upper part is designed for M4 threaded inserts with around 5.5mm flange diameter for the AMPS bolts and accomodates the heads of M5 Allen bolts that connect both parts.
The lower part takes M5 threaded inserts with 6.3mm flange.

It features a slot for a zip-tie in the upper part that can be slung around the handlebar to make sure you don't lose expensive equipment in case the print or the threaded inserts fail.

You might want to add a thin layer of rubber/foam between mount and handlebar to keep the assembly from rotating.
