Summary

2023-11-28: Did further refinements on this seat, I feel this is the final version now, I'm very happy with it. The seat was still rubbing a bit against the inside of my legs and causing some pain over time, what I've done is make it a bit narrower in the front and also made the sides more rounded instead of the edges which were there before, for me the pain is now completely gone and it's super comfortable to sit on.

A ridiculously comfortable seat for the S22, no seriously, your ass will thank you ♥️, it's like sitting on a cloud!

So having previously used a motorcycle passenger seat addon on-top of the stock seat which in itself became pretty comfy I wanted to design an original seat with the following design goals:

1) Completely replace the stock seat
2) Make a seat that feels very comfortable to sit on
3) Move the seated position upwards so that you sit higher which will feel more ergonomic
4) Make sure the seat feels like it's supporting you in the right places in combination with feeling soft
5) Make sure the seat is not in the way and does not feel uncomfortable against your legs when riding standing up
6) Add some protection on the sides of the controller housing

I think I can confidently say I achieved all of those goals.

The "bump" in the front serves a couple of purposes: a) Act as a reference point making it easy to tell where exactly you are sitting on the seat b) Prevent you from sliding forward off the seat when leaning heavily c) Prevent the wheel from slipping from below you when you're just sitting around on the wheel and not riding like sitting still and chatting to someone for instance.

Beware: If you like to jump and if you have short legs this seat might hit you in the ass while jumping, take that as you will, hehe!

Also I don't care much for the display, I'd rather focus on the road and sit comfortably instead of looking down on some non-GPS calibrated number and personally I have EUC World right on my wrist on a Galaxy Watch which is much better.

Installation:

-Easiest way to remove the supports is using a plier and pull them off
-Install using Velcro as pictured

Printing:

I've printed this with TPU95A and a 0.6 Nozzle, I can not guarantee how this seat will feel with any other TPU shore hardness so I strongly recommend TPU95A, with my settings this seat is super comfortable. If you print with a 0.4 nozzle you might need an additional wall and some slight adjustment to infill to make it stronger.

This is a very long print and it will use up about 530g of TPU with the supports, however after removing all the supports the seat will weight around 470g which is pretty light for what it is.

The texture on the seat on my photos is Cura "Fuzzy Skin" feature, I don't know if other slicers have this fantastic feature but not only does Fuzzy Skin make the surface visually appealing it also makes grip better.
