This is my remix of the Borg Cube PC case I found on Thingiverse. I modified it a bit to be a better match for my usecase. Maybe it works for you too.
I increased its size to 256mm per edge and increased the thickness of the cube faces to allow them to be fastened together with M3 screws instead them being glued together.
Another thing was that my PC is actually more of a server/NAS headless PC. I only need a power cable, an ethernet connection and a couple of USBs as IOs. Plus the power button.
Since I needed so little, it made sense to try to "hide" them in the model. I added my back part with my custom cuts ("back_custom.stl") as well as an uncut version of it ("back_uncut.stl") to allow you to cut it based on your motherboard.
Speaking of that, because I used small extenders for the IOs, I had the motherboard placed a couple of centimeters to the front, so the motherboard IO shield is inside the case. I attached that model ("bottom_custom.stl"), but I attached one without any holes in it too, so you can design your own screw holes ("bottom_undrilled.stl").
Being a NAS, I wanted to cram inside as many HDDs as possible, so I made room for at least 8 HDDs of different sizes (2.5" and 3.5"). Of course, you can redesign the HDD tray if you don't need an army of HDDs, but maybe you need a graphics card.
The cable management is a mess, but I didn't see the Borg trying to have any sort of cable management whatsoever :)
That being said, if you print it, I would love to see how you dealt with cable management, so please post a picture of that! :)
Because of the poor cable management, I had to add a fan grid for the fan at the back of the case. I also added a fan grid to the CPU fan, just to be on the safe side. The fans at the front are in no danger. Yet.
Be careful, you need a larger printing area, because the model is 256mm x 256mm.
I found that printing with supports helps with warping. Since it's a big model area, warping was a problem even with PLA. Just make sure to put support blockers in the screw holes, or you may end up having trouble taking the supports out of them.
The motherboard is somewhere between FlexATX and microATX in size, recovered from a mini-PC. I also recovered the power supply from said PC, looks like a flexATX power supply. Maybe the power supply holder will help you, maybe you'll have to redesign it for your PS, depending on the model you find/have.
I added to my setup four 120mm RGB fans with a remote. Of course, I keep them on green all the time :)
I attached fan brackets and the HDD tray is meant to be part of the fans assembly. They should match more than one type of 120mm fans.
Let me know what you think in the comments! ;)
