Summary

This part is a turn signal switch for Euro Truck Simulator 2/American Truck Simulator to be added to the steering wheel controller. To be recognized as a gamepad, it is connected to the M5Stack ATOMS3.

Required Parts

3D printed these parts x2 set
3 position Toggle Switch (on-off-on) x2
Self-Tapping screws (2mm x 8mm) x8
M5Stack ATOMS3 x1
M5Stack ATOMIC DIY Proto Kit for ATOM series x1
some cable

How to Buid

3D print these parts.
Attach the switch to the chassis. Place a nut across the hole and secure with radio pliers.
Wiring to the switch.
Attach the lever to the knob of the switch. If the hole is small, insert a hot iron rod to melt it. Fix the gap with grue(or melt it).
Attach the lid to the chassis.

GPIO 8 --> Switch1 (Blinker: left)
GPIO 7 --> Switch1 (Blinker: right)
GPIO 6 --> Switch2 (Shifter: forward)
GPIO 5 --> Switch2 (Shifter: reverse)
3.3V --> Switch1 center pin, Switch2 center pin

ATOMS3 Programs

Use the Arduino IDE to write the program to ATOMS3.

Setup the PC and Game

Connect the power supply to the ATOMS3 and perform Bluetooth pairing on the PC.
Add this controller to ETS2/ATS.
Change the game settings to match the switch specifications as follows
Automatic blinker turn off: off
Transmission: Real Automatic
Press the switch to set the key assignments.
