This air intake debris filter fits all stock air intake cones for Jeep Wrangler TJ model years 97-06. It likely will fit many other Jeep models and years, but I have only tested it on that specific one.

This part is a simple safeguard from leaves and other debris that can be sucked into the air intake and end up clogging your air filter inside the filter box. Depending on the angle you have your intake cone twisted, once the engine is off, large debris like leaves will simply fall off. It is loose fitting around the edges so that if a large leaf does clog the whole face, air can still be sucked in through the sides.
