You may need supports for the slots on the side, depending on how dialed in your overhang settings are. You also may need to carve out that support in post processing. YMMV

Post-Printing

I used the spine of a single edge razor blade to clean and clear the side channel, use caution if you do the same.

How I Designed This

My old brown BK Precision 2906 Multi Meter that I got from my Dad was missing the 9V battery cover, so I looked at images on-line and on eBay for what the battery cover looked like. I tried to copy it the best I could, using the pictures, as well as the meter itself as a reference.

Unfortunately, I borrowed the meter to a friend, who proceeded to lose it as I was printing the battery cover to test fit it.

So this is an untested design, but I have included the FreeCAD file in case you need to make mods, but it will probably just need some good ol' fashioned post processing to make it fit.

If you happen to come across a BK Precision 2906 that has huge chunk of plastic missing around the LCD, with no battery cover, and perhaps you found it on top of a car on the NorthWest side of Chicago, I would really like to get this one back. Not that it has any real value, just that it was my Dad's and one of my first 3D designs.

Update: Got an 875A LCR Meter sans battery cover, tested the design, it was a little tight, so I made a V2 which fits much better.
