The original Thing did not fit the vertical bolts and the z-axis rod of my ender 3 V2. I modified it with holes, to fit between the vertical bolts and to carry a 22mm bearing, that stabilizes the z-rod.
I also modified both parts to fit the screws that support the stock filament suspension in the aluminium profile.
You'll need a 22mm bearing.
EDIT: As it is impossible to match the exact measurements of Z-Rod and Bolts, I removed the material between the boltheads cutouts. The slightest pressure in one direction on the Z-Rod led to significant impact on my prints.
