Summary

This is a custom design two lane straight track section for use with Ideal Motorific Racerific slot car sets from the 60's. Use several of these and the custom two lane curves to make a simple two lane layout with traffic travelling in one, or opposite directions, or use these with the single lane to two lane adapters to add two lane traffic to a regular single lane layout or link two layouts together allowing at least two vehicles to run at the same time without collisions.

How I Designed This

A single track section twice the width of the original single lane track. This is the second of two custom two lane track sections of my design, the first is the quarter length section. More sections will follow including a half length straight track, a curve track as well as adapters to allow the original single lane track sections to mate with these.
