Summary
With the new cardboard spool I noticed that my extruders where working a little bit harder to pull out the filament on my multiport printer. To remedy the situation without having to modify my filament support setup. I installed on the cardboard spool two adaptor rings with a thin contact surface area. The rings are made to snap inside and can be removed after the spool has been used. The spool can rotate with less effort without the cardboard touching the support.
