Amphenol MC3M for Vintage Shure Microphones

I have some vintage Shure microphones that use the Amphenol MC3M connector. I seem to have misplaced my cords with these ends and they are very pricy. While looking for new ends, I stumbled uponhttps://github.com/JennyList/Amphenol-MC3M-Shure-hood. I get the concept but I wanted to try something different.

Very much a work in progress. Please forgive the chaotic design process I used in the fusion file.

Print both parts. print the threaded part threads up. 10AWG NM cable (romex) stripped bare is the perfect size for the pins. Cut copper so theres about a 1/4 in sticking out either side. BEFORE soldering, slide the threaded cap on the wire. Soldering to nm isn't the easiest, so file and flux the copper first before trying to get anything to stick. I drew the diagram of my mic looking at the bottom of the mic. YMMV. I put some hot glue on the soldered end to prevent any stray strands from shorting and to provide some strain relief. The cap was a nice tight fit on both the cord and threads.

Feel free to improve this in any way just don't be a scumbag and monetize it
