Summary

This thing allows you to attach your phone to the side of the DWARF II telescope. I use it to polar align the scope prior to use. A D cell battery is attached via rubber bands as a counter weight. I only use this for polar aligning and the DWARF II is not on when the phone is attached, I am not sure how the DWARF II would handle the extra weight if this was attached while it was trying to track. I include to phone stand parts a standard one for mounting your phone sideways and a long for mounting it vertical. Either should work. I just found the vertical one a little more stable. Please use rubber bands to keep your phone from falling off.

After making the base inserted a screw on the back for attaching rubber bands. When mounting to the DWARF II please use rubber bands or something else to affix the mount to the side of the DWARF II so your phone does not fall off!
