Rods should be 1/4 inch diameter metal rods (aluminum or steel) cut to length
Threaded rods, nuts, lock nuts should be 8-32
both above found at homedepot, mcmaster, ebay

These files have minor modifications from Dale's version including:
rounding the corners of the parts so they don't need brim
Adding 2 holes for M3 screws to hold interferometer and paper holder
Triangle marks for easier assembly when following instructions
xslider threaded section shorter for less knob resistance
removed need for brass tubes

rsdoc file is original source cad files and can be opened with free program Design Spark Mechanical.

Post-Printing

Use a curved file to remove any bumps on curved areas that accept a rod from above.

Use a 1/4 inch drill bit to drill out all holes meant for 1/4 inch rods. Check hole for low friction and enarge hole by putting the drill through the hole and applying pressure in every direction while at high speed (drills are not designed to cut on the sides but they will cut a tiny bit).

All tight 8-32 holes meant to be auto-tapped should be pre-drilled with 5/32" drill bit
All open holes meant for 8-32 should be drilled with larger, 11/64" drill bit.

Open holes are holes up against a lock nut. Holes meant to be tapped are not. See images in assembly instructions (link just below).

There are 2 smaller holes in the top of the stage meant for M3 screws. If you have M3 screws then pre-drill those with 7/64" drill bit and then they will self-tap using the actual M3 screws.
