Summary
A simple tactical flashlight dummy with mount for picatinny rails and a dummy pressure switch. Made to make your airsoft gun look "tacticool", even if your country forbids you to real have target illumination devices (like flashlights and laser pointers).
Materials needed:
- 2 M4 heated inserts (optional)
- 2 M4x15 screws (optional, can be a bit shorter)
- 1 M4x35 screw (I cut a longer one to length)
- 1 M4 Nut
- Fitting cable for pressure switch (for example an old USB cable)
- Glue
Attaching the pressure switch is optional, the end for the cable on the flashlight dummy is a separate part.
Before you print the pressure switch scale it up to around 150% size for best results!
Print all parts except the cable end and the pressure switch with supports. The dummy itself prints the best if placed vertically with the cone as the bottom.

Post-Printing
Assembly, Method 1: Glue
You can use glue to attach the dummy to the mount.
If you want to attach the pressure switch glue the printed cable end part to the back of the dummy.
Put a drop of hot glue in each of the holes on the cable end and the pressure switch to glue the cable in place.
To attach the pressure switch to your airsoft gun you can use double sided tape or velcro tape if you don't want it permanently fixed.
Slide the dummy assembly onto your pic-rail and secure it with the longer M4 screw and the nut.
Assembly, Method 2: Heated Inserts
If you want to mount the dummy to the pic-rail mount a bit more robust or make the dummy removable from the mount you can use this method.
Melt the two M4 heated inserts in the pre-existing holes in the dummy. Afterwards screw the mount to the dummy with the two M4x15 screws.
If you want to attach the pressure switch glue the printed cable end part to the back of the dummy.
Put a drop of hot glue in each of the holes on the cable end and the pressure switch to glue the cable in place.

Slide the dummy assembly onto your pic-rail and secure it with the longer M4 screw and the nut.
