Summary

Our cheap plastic pepper mill recently broke in a way that couldn't be repaired, so I looked online to find the best pepper mill to buy to replace it.
Once I realised that the Mannkitchen Pepper Cannon was far too expensive for me to afford, I decided to re-animate the dead pepper mill by transplanting its innards into a pastiche of the pepper cannon, which I like to think of as the pepper pistol.

It doesn't grind half as much pepper as the real thing, nor look or feel as nice, but it saved me a bit of cash and looks quite funny with its silly chrome knob on the top. So, maybe someone will find it useful too.

I've attached an image of the hardware required to build this (not counting the ruler...!) so you can check if your broken pepper grinder parts will fit.
