When setting up the print in the slicer, I set the end that receives the lock stud to the bed with a brim and tree supports. Also set the bottom ~25% with 5 walls and 75% infill. May be not really needed but didnt want to deal with the part breaking in use. For instructions on how to change walls/infill/etc on the same model see the video below.

Post-Printing

Dimensions are intentionally slightly unsized (~.1-.2mm). Lock stud is meant to be heat set. Heat lock stud to ~100-110c and firmly press into handle. Should still have a small amount of the lock stud proud of the end of the handle.

Works best with a handle for the top portion/shell plate for the lock stud. I have used the following one with great success.

How I Designed This

This model is a remix of a handle I found of Printables by Baluas (https://www.printables.com/model/546900-handle-for-14-hex-bit) Unable to find user/ same model here. If anyone find it please let me know to provide attribution.

Changes made from original:
Slightly shrunk overall dimensions (4%). Added 6mm cylinder to top and cut out ~16.5 mm hole to fit lock stud. Lock stud is intended to he heat set for s tight fit and retention in the handle. Two models included, one with the original length handle and the other 25mm longer.
