This Mountable Tub Shelf can be easily installed/removed when needed & can be adjusted to fit the tub of your choice. Keep your book, mug, snacks, & more in arms reach during tub-time or use it as extra storage for your other toiletries. The shelf has an integrated drainage system to keep water in the tub and not in your belongings. Vice-like grips utilize ball-and-socket joints to lock the shelf to any tub shape, creating a stable surface for the heaviest of mugs.

Don't keep your dry goods on the floor like a schlub, mount this shelf to your tub!

Notes:
I printed the shelf at 5% infill & used snug supports to balance material use & strength. The smaller parts can be printed at 15%.

I highly recommend that you use a more tacky material for the Socket part as PLA does not create enough friction against curved tub walls. I used flexible filament for the flat part of the Socket, but I also had success with adding electrical tape to the PLA. If you use flexible filament, I recommend 5% infill for the flat cylinder and 15% infill for the PLA socket.

Post-Printing

Assembly

Screw the ScrewBalls into the Long Arms until the balls are accessible. Pop the Sockets onto the ScrewBalls.

Slide the Long Arms into the Shelf's dove tail joints. They should fit snugly, but you can glue them in if you don't want them to be removeable.

Screw the Screws into the Adjustment Arms until flush. Slide the Adjustment Arms into the Shelf's dove tail sliders.

Mounting

Place the Mountable Tub Shelf onto the wall of your tub. Slide the Adjustment arms to the outer tub wall and lock them in with the Screws.

Tighten the ScrewBalls into the inner tub wall until the shelf is secure. The ball & socket joint should allow tension to be created for curved walls.

Once secured, add all your bath-time supplies & start soaking!
