Summary
Dust nozzle for Makita 5007F helps to reduce dust.
The nozzle fits a hose of Fein Turbo vacuums. Hose adapter portion is slightly tapered toward the back to create friction around the hose connector.
The dust port on the saw doesn’t have a hook of some kind to keep the nozzle in place. For this reason, I drilled a hole through the saw’s shroud and fixed the nozzle with a nut and bolt.
Dimensions of the nozzle's port
- Front Diameter: 1.43 in (36.3 mm)
- Rear Diameter: 1.41 in (35.8 mm)
- Length: 1.5 in (38.1 mm)
3D Printer Settings
Working prints were produced on Prusa MINI with:
- 0.6 mm nozzle
- 0.3 mm QUALITY
- 80% infill
- 4 perimeters
- PLA
- Support on build plate only
