Summary

I love Cartographers...like a lot. So I have refill pads and pick up every new expansion they put out. Unfortunately, the base insert that comes with the collector's edition could not contain my love for this game, and so after trying thirty different ways to fit it and storing in a separate box...I gave up and just made a really simple insert. There's a pen tray for those of us who like color coding and a place to keep the card types separated. The giant stack of pads is divided between the two pad-sized spaces and voila! Organized.

The cards are organized as follows:

One the left side:
ABCD Cards, Seasons Cards, Pad Specific Cards, Explore Cards, House Icon Cards, Double Arrow Icon Cards

On the right side:
Skills Cards, Monster Cards, Hero Cards, Merchant Cards, Plains/Water Cards, Forest Cards

NOTE: Print the pen box twice, or duplicate it on the plate to print with the first one.

How I Designed This

This was very simple organizer. I pulled the stock insert out and arranged the pieces in the box bottom until I liked how they sat, then traced and measured the pads and cards and laid out two boxes - one for colored pencils, and the other to keep the cards organized and together.

The pencil box comes in one half, so it will need to be printed twice or duplicated on one print.

The card box is a rather long print (8hrs on my Prusa), but printed great and is sturdy.
