I designed this housing to fit the cheapest activated carbon filters that I could find on ebay, those to fit the Holmes Hap2400 and Hap242. Fold or cut them in half and this holds 3 filters (6 layers). It certainly reduces the smell a bit but I cant do any further testing, its better than nothing but I certainly wouldn't trust it for anything with particularly nasty gases. The snapmaker 2.0 enclosure fan is perfectly capable of pushing air through this filter. No extra fan required. I welcome any comments about how effective this actually is and whether compressing them or adding more depth would be better.

Its designed to be used in conjunction with a separate particle filter such as a HEPA filter. I will upload my design for that later.

There are 2 bases, select one and then the cover to hold the filter in place. Its designed to be cheap and quick to print so its not that sturdy. One base has the 3 inch hole central and one has it in the corner so in theory you could rotate the filters and eek out a bit more use from the other corner. I may do an angled version so that all of the filter is used at once if people want it or if I break mine.

It just dawned on me that people may prefer to glue the separate flange part on, let me know if anybody wants a version without any holes in that would suit gluing.

I used PLA and 10% infill. The cover part slides in, the triangular strengthening bits should be facing outwards and the notched end lines up with the raised bit on the base.
