Summary
The proflame 2 transmitter is poorly made so the AAA batteries jostle and turn off the remote when moved. This printed spacer (shown in grey) rests on top (no glue) and prevents the batteries from moving.
Also note how I added rubber feet to my remote, I recommend finding some thin ones (off an old remote if necessary).
