I originally wrote these a long time ago, so they're a bit of a mess. It still works fine, though printer tolerance tweaking might be a bit of a hassle.

There are two case designs included: one for bare blades, and one for wrapped blades.

You might ask why you would want a case for bare blades. Consider the following two reasons:

For a large part of the mid-2000's, I had a pile of old stock Schick PlusPlatinum blades. Most of these came in obnoxious slide-out dispensers that were problematic for at least one of two reasons depending on the style. Some of the cases required the fresh blade to be slid out through a punched slot in a sheet aluminum cover, which frequently destroyed the blade edges. Regardless of the case style, most of the packs had some oil between the blades which had become gummy, making it difficult to impossible to slide the blades out.

While those were all leftovers from the 80's, I have found both of these problems in newly purchased packages as well. As a general rule, I regard slide-out blade packages as user-hostile design. The only acceptable method of using them is to tear them apart and take the blades out and put them in a usable container. Nobody sells safety razors locally anymore, so I just buy cases of wrapped blades online. It's not an issue for me anymore, but it was a decade ago.

The second reason you might want a case for bare blades is that used razors are still useful for cutting things.

Okay, well why would you want a case for wrapped blades, then? They already come in a box, so what's wrong with that? Some blades come in a plastic dispenser box, but most come in tear-open cardboard boxes. They spill everywhere in a toiletries bag, the paper ends up getting wet, blades get bent. Even the dispenser boxes spill if they're not full. They just spill one blade at a time. This case doesn't spill.
