Summary
My daughter wanted a skull planter. I found nexnox's and loaded it into Blender. I Created a copy of the skull, on the copy, carefully selected all the vertices INSIDE the bowl (there are a LOT of vertices in this model), inverted the selection, and deleted all vertices EXCEPT the inner wall of the bowl. Then shrank the resulting object to 96% of its original size. I then used the Solidify modifier on it and made the wall 1mm thick (too thin but will do). Also drilled a hole in the bottom of both using a boolean difference modifier and a cylinder.
