Summary

This is my take on a solution for a guide rail to repeatably locate on if using a DIY rail hinge. Im may case this was a substitute for an 8mm dowel used in Peter Millards excellent DIY MFT rail hinge at 10minuteworkshop.

This works for the Festool and Makita rails, it may also fit others.

It needs to be countersunk and then attached with a 3.5 x 25mm wood screw.

I'll update the design when i get chance.
