Summary

This is just a fairly simple idea I had to use with some of my action figure displays. Three rings of Kirby Krackle that you can glue on top of one another to create a portal effect, and another layer of random dots to enhance the dimensionality a bit more. I had originally planned to use this to hang against a back wall, but I included a small stand to make a free-standing option. It should be able to be size this up or down as you like, but the model here has roughly a 7" radius.

I used flat colors for mine, but some iridescent or glow-in-the-dark filaments might be fun to try.

Post-Printing

Just glue the smallest ring behind the middle-sized ring, and then glue the largest ring on top of all that. They don't have to perfectly align and, in fact, probably shouldn't. Then glue the extra dots on top of the largest ring spacing them not-quite-evenly.

The stand seems to work best off the largest blobs of the outer layer if you're just balancing it, but you could easily glue that in place as well if you're having difficulty with it.
