Summary
thingiverse is a broken pile of garbage.
i can't use the draft feature without loading either a 404 or a blank page and losing all my work 100% of the time, and i can't upload more than one large file at a time without either the upload dialog hanging/breaking or causing all the buttons on the page to become unresponsive.
so now i have to upload one bit at a time, while having the incomplete page published, since that's the only possible way to save anything on this dumpster fire of a website.
this is approximately my sixth or seventh attempt
