Summary

This is a replacement cap for the 50L tank supplied with the Makita DWH080 36V pressure washer, to allow a hose to be connected to the tank drain port instead of using the suction hose provided with the tool. This allows gravity to aid the machine and allows it to prime much more easily.

This adapter is threaded to fit the tank and has a 60mm AF outer hex. This can be tightened with a 60mm socket or adjustable wrench. The square profile O-ring must be transferred from the original Makita cap.

The internal thread is M27x1.75, to fit either a Hozelock Aquastop or Gardena female hose fitting. The Gardena fitting is a narrower diameter and has a better water stop feature for lower water pressure.

Using my Bambu Lab A1 Mini and their basic PETG, this requires no supports.
