Summary

These “Cartridge Lifters” are designed to raise staggered rows of five cartridges for many popular brands of .22 Long Rifle ammunition. This makes loading magazines for target competition much quicker and easier. Different lifter designs are included for CCI, Aguila, RWS/Norma and SK/Lapua ammunition.

These models have fairly fine features. I used a 0.35 mm nozzle at a 0.2 mm layer height. The strength and “springiness” of the latches on the ends will depend on your filament. These were mostly printed with a PLA “Plus” material. I used eSun PLA+ a lot in the past, and more recent prints were done using 3D Fuel PLA Pro filament.

Some ammo manufacturers have occasionally changed the design of their cartridge frames slightly. I had to make new versions for both Aguila and SK/Lapua to deal with this, and those are included in the files. This may have been due to supply chain issues during the pandemic. The original Aguila lifter design seems to work well with the current ammunition. If you need to make changes, I’ve supplied STEP files for all the designs for ease of editing.
