Summary

In addition to my more detailed post Parametric Helical Darrieus Turbine covering the most important design rules and tips for helical Darrieus turbines, I present here a ready to print version of a two-bladed helical Darrieus turbine which I recently designed and printed with a neglected Anycubic Mega I3 during my stay on the island of Crete.
Unfortunatelay there was almost no wind (how unusual for Crete), but even with low wind the design showed nice self starting behavior.

The aluminium parts I extracted from a worn out laundry drying rack from the local garbage place. With the help of some super glue, dowels, and spax for fixing the blades to the spokes, the result is pretty decent.

    I added a small cube to distance the blades 0.5 mm from the building plate and to get an easy-to-break-off support. For me this works almost perfect. Some sanding gives a reasonable finish.

    The stl with the hubs and the connectors should print effortless (2.5 h print time)
    The stl with the blade parts needs to be printed twice (5.5h print time each)

    Fixing instructions:

    1. prepare the hubs so that they fit tightly to the rod and the spokes fit tightly into the holes
    2. sand and prepare the part connectors so that they have a tight fit with the blade parts
    3. push and distance the hubs 150 mm and 45° on the main rod
    4. push a dowel into each spoke and very carefully screw the 8 blade parts to the spokes without breaking the hollow parts
    5. push the spokes to the hubs and arrange the hubs properly so that the blade parts form the blade.
    6. super glue the connectors into the blade parts and then the parts together
    7. finally super glue the spokes to the hubs and the hubs to the rod

    I combined a tent pole and a ball bearing into a pivot bearing, however, you might find your own solution for this.
