Summary

This design is inspired by the Houseplant (by Seth Rogen) "Zelda lighter caddy", and ofcourse Fred the Frog. Make your lighter a nice part of your household and avoid people from stealing it.

After painting I superglued the lighter in place. I used a click-y lighter bc the wheel lighters are hard to reach when it is in the statue. Unfortunately I couldn't find a bic clic lighter, so it's an off brand. Make sure to use a refillable lighter.

I'll upload the .obj file soon so you guys can make custom hats as well.

Post-Printing

Painting 3D prints to look bronze-ish

I followed a few steps of a youtube tutorial, it boils down to this:

Please do not be like me and sand your project properly before painting.
Coat in primer paint, i used a spray.
Coat in a dark brown paint. I used acrylic paint and as you can see the brushstrokes are showing but this color won't show afterwards anyways. It's a base so your gold paint doesn't have to be super thick.
Coat with Gold Spray paint. You'll see it is much smoother now!
With a dry paint brush (or your fingers) dab some dark brown acrylic paint to areas where "water" would get stuck on your statue, this gives the bronzing effect.
Before the paint dries, use a dry cloth to wipe away excess brown paint, creating a buffed look.

The amount of brownness depends on how "weathered" you want your statue to look. I might try again making it a bit darker, but then I must sand a bit more.
