This is my first project, so sorry if it is set up weirdly
This is a 1 to 200 scale model of a Boeing 737 Max 8. Dimensions from nose to tail are 197.6 mm, which is a 1 to 200 scale of 39.52 m. If you are like me and are in america, it measures at 7 and 3/4 of an inch.
I made this because I got really into planes, and was buying models. I figured it would be cheaper just to join a printing club and make them to print instead. I'm making them on my own because there weren't any models accurate enough for me on here. Trust me, these ones I'll make will be very accurate. Custom modeled, and entirely based off blueprints and pictures.
A few important notes:
1) The "Setup to print" is 1 of 2 files you need. You also need to print the engines (CMF Leap 1b). I didn't include them in that file, because I highly recommend that you use a Resin printer for those. They are very detailed, and if you print with a normal 3d printer, the fan blades will be ripped off. That is the one thing I did test. If you don't have a resin printer, you need to wait until I update this, probably on 4/15/24 give or take a day, when I upload a simpler engine design that won't break on a normal printer.
2) I haven't tested this yet. The tolerances are probably too tight, but everything fits together in theory. Be prepared to sand down the Horizontal Stabilizer (horizontal fins in the back), The rudder, and especially the Winglets. The winglets have a tab on them that slots into the wings. that is probably only 2 or 3 layers, so you might just have to cut that off and superglue it. Supergluing it applies to every part, but the winglets have guiding tabs. I will test it when I get it printed myself, which won't be until the 20th of april.
3) If you can't get it together, I included an assembled model STL, which is everything fit together, just go off that.

- Resolution:As high as possible
- Infill:20% should be fine
- Notes:
Resin print the engine files I included. Make sure to support the fans, because they will print as islands. If you only have a normal 3d printer, Wait until April 15th, Where I will provide simpler engines that don't break.
Print as high of a resolution as you can. Otherwise parts probably wont fit together and things like winglets could break.
Supports will be on the nosecone (super annoying, its just for supporting the tip and has to go all the way up), and the engine pylons, because they have to print horizontally.
